2010 All Star Weekend

So, this past weekend my best-friend and I went to Dallas for the All Star Weekend. This was our first time going to this event and we had a blast!! We stayed in one of the nicest hotels in Dallas "The Westin" the one attached to the Galleria. I'm sooo glad we decided to stay there because we bumped into tons of celebs. All of whom were really nice, with the exception of Rhianna's boyfriend Matt Kemp who was very rude. I asked him would he take a picture with us, and he replied with a very snide remark as to why he couldn't......Can we say A$hole!! I mean he clearly didn't know who I was.......lol!!!

We also saw some other celebs, when we attended Russell Simmon's Party, but they were in V.I.P. and we were not about to pay V.I.P money just to take a picture with them lol!! Nevertheless, we had a great time and I look forward to doing this again next year. I think our next trip will be to the Essence Music Festival in July. Kitson in Japan?? Really?

Today, one of my kids came into class with a KITSON backpack. I asked one of the Japanese teachers if they had a Kitson store here and guess what.............THEY DO!! It just opened up! Yay!! You know what this means right? I will be heading out to Kitson's soon!! I just gotta figure out where it is first.........

It Was........ Love At First Sight!

Okay, so I know I should be sleeping right now, but I can't. I'm just not sleepy anymore. All day at work I was tired and couldn't wait to get home and get into the bed. Now, I'm in the freaking bed and I can't even yawn! ARGH!! So, what do I do when I can't sleep? I look online at clothes and of course SHOES!! OH YES SHOES!!

With that being said, I fallen in love AGAIN!! I've got to have these in my life!! I'm pretty sure when Dolce Vita was making these knee highs, he was thinking about me.......but............

(then reality hits and I say to myself) not with that price tag!! WHEW!! CAN WE SAY PRICEY!!! UGH!!

I went to Harajuku today, to do some unnecessary shopping and guess what I saw standing in front of me?? Yep, Harajuku girls. Check out the pics below sorry, I wasn't bold enough to take frontal pics!

For those that don't know, Harajuku girls have a very outrageous style. They often mix and match a lot of different styles using things they bought from vintage shops and very high priced designer clothing stores. It's extreme and surreal. Check it out!

I Think I Like Flowers After All???

The other day, my best friend and I were talking about our Fall Fashion ideas and how we planned to update our closets. She told me she was into the whole feminine style of having flower patterns on her clothing items. I on the other hand, told her I wasn't down with it, THAT IS UNTIL TODAY!! I was on Concreteloop and saw Rihanna rocking this outfit. ABSOLUTELY, LOVING IT!

My New Fixation......Japanese Manicure pt. 2

Previously, do you remember me telling you that one of my co-workers promised to do my nails? Well, I decided to do it myself. I went out the other day and bought my own little starter kit. Well, it's not actually a "REAL"starter kit, it's MY STARTER KIT!! Anyway, I plan on doing my toes on Sunday and I promise to post pics of the outcome.

My New Fixation....Japanese Manicures

Today, while I was supposed to be working (shh!!), I went into one of Fuchu’s many beauty stores. Beauty stores here in Japan are filled with tons upon tons of beauty supplies (every girls dream right).

Since I have been here in Japan, I have really become fascinated with how they do their nails (its not like how they do it in the States). Here in Japan, rather than just using nail polish, they also use nail stickers. Nail stickers and nail artwork are very popular here in Tokyo. I have seen some really cute nails and some "what were you thinking nails".

Now, with all of that being said, many of my co-workers are taking classes on how to do nails and one of them has promised to do mine. Woo Hoo!!! So, within the next month or so I will be posting pics of my nails, but for right now here are a few pics of my co-worker's nails and other randoms. LOVES IT!!

Next week Friday, I have an all White Party to go to (YAY!!), but I am not quite sure what to wear (don't you hate that??). I really want to find a different outfit for this event, but I am having some difficulty finding something that will set me apart from the crowd (i hate looking like everyone else). So with that being said, I have found a "Cotton Spandex Jersey Unitard" from American Apparel that I like and think it might set me apart from the rest, but I want to wear something over it. I have been thinking about some sort of Boyfriend Blazer or maybe a Jeans Jacket or...ummm arrrrrr................UGH I DON'T KNOW! I NEED HELP!! ANY SUGGESTIONS????????
