You log onto the internet and 5 hours and 21 tabs later, you're still browsing. Literally!! Why is it any other time, time seems to crawl at a snails pace? But the moment you are on the internet, time seems to fly by. Sheesh!!  How time consuming the internet can be............

On Tuesday, Rihanna was spotted heading to her after party held at the Merah nightclub in London wearing a similar pair of leggings Sincerely Me wore in Tokyo last year. Although the diva's wore different tops, they both rocked their leggings with a cute pair of  black pumps and minimal jewelry. Check em out!

"Find Your Love" in Jamaica??

Everyone that actually knows me, knows that I was born and raised on reggae music. I love it!! So you can imagine my excitement when I heard that Drake just finished shooting his latest video "Find My Love" in Jamaica. Now the video was filmed throughout Kingston and includes scenes with dancehall artist Movado, the Gully God.  So with all the hype surrounding the video, it was only natural I get excited right? WRONG!! After watching the video I was pretty disappointed. I guess I was expecting to hear something close to reggae. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. Dang-it!! I hate when I get excited for no reason. Anyway, check out the video and let me know what your thoughts are...................Maybe I'm just trippin because it's early in the morning.

The other day, my Aunt sent me a link to check out an article about celebrity women who leave you asking:  How old are they really? So, before reading how old each woman actually was I tried to guess their age and I failed miserably lol!! Hehehe! Well, I didn't do too bad!! Anyway, Clickity Click Here and see if you can do it. Okay, I had to put Ann Curry up here because she is one of my favorite NBC news anchor's on the Today Show. Love her!! Anyway, can you guess how old she is? Well, I'm not going to give it away, but I was shocked when I found out. She looks great for her age.

Tattoo for me?

So, I've been asked a few times if I would ever get a tattoo.

 Are you serious? Me? Tattoo? I just don't get the fascination with them. I have never been able to look at a tattoo and say "Oh, that's hot. I gotta get one".  No way!! Absolutely Not!!

What's up with "What's up?"

A few days ago, a close friend of mine kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Okay, first off, he is NOT the only guy I know that does this. However, he is the only one to make headliner for my post today. Now, I'm not angry, it's just that when this happens, I get somewhat, (looking up as if the word is going to magically appear from the ceiling) Errrrr ummm…… Oh yes, that's it--Agitated!! 

Okay so here's what happened……….

Me- Sipping on my afternoon tea, eating Digestive Biscuits and listening to the sounds of smooth jazz in the background, I placed my delicate porcelain teacup down and picked up the phone to call my friend. (Phone rings about 5x's) I begin to think maybe he isn't going to answer.

Guy Friend (Finally answers phone) - With bass in his voice, he says….."WHAT'S UP?"
As if he is asking me "What do you want?".  You know how you can tell if someone is smiling on the other end of the phone- well there was no smile with his"WHAT'S UP?".

Me (Jerks neck back and looks at the phone) - Now, placing much emphasis on the "O". I say………. "Umm….. HellO?!?" I pause. Waiting on my guy friend to correct himself.


Guy Friend- "Yeah, what's up?"

Me- (squinting my eyes, clinching my teeth, moving my head from left to right and mouthing "Oh no he didn't") So, I attempt to give him another chance, but this time I say it with more attitude. "I said Hell-O??"

Guy Friend- As if he is getting frustrated, responds louder with……"YEAH!!"

********************************BREAK******************************

Now, if you know me, you can pretty much figure out how this conversation ended. Let's just say, I will be addressed with the proper salutations next time! 

Seriously though, I hate when guys answer the phone with "What's up?" and address me as though I am one of their homeboys. What ever happened to "Hello Insert Name" "Hi  Insert Name" "Hey  Insert Name" or even "Hey whats up  Insert Name". 

When did just a plain ole "What's Up?" become acceptable to use when talking to your lady friends?
