The Jackson 7

I probably forgot to mention this, but my co-workers and I had been practicing for quite sometime now for our big debut. Today, we performed at one of Fuchu's biggest festivals "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5, except we had seven in our group and "Thriller" lol. Anyway, the performance went off without a hitch. Actually, I take that back, my boss was stressing waaaay too hard and pissing everyone off. However, when all was said and done, we had a great time and she eventually chilled out. Here is a snid bit of our performance and a few pics. Oh yeah, and my kids performed too....check them out also. They sang both English and Japanese songs...."You are my Sunshine" & "Konobori".

What in the Hell??

This morning, I was awoken by the voice of my Aunt telling me that Michael Jackson had died at only 50 years old. I couldn't believe it!! I was in shock!! Not, the Michael Jackson I grew up listening to, surely not! I couldn't grip my sleepy brain around the thought! It was a sad and unreal moment for me. Is she kidding, I thought. He was suppose to live FOREVER!

Now, I think about how my newborn nephew will never know who Michael Jackson is foreal. ISN'T THIS CRAZY?? He will only be able to hear stories, but never understand how big he was during my childhood years. Another thought, maybe Michael did it to himself (not suicide or anything). He had probably done so much damage to his body that it was too weak and fragile to function properly. I hate that he is gone.
